Faculty
The whole faculty has been drawn from an experienced and committed band of teachers and the new venture will only hone up their already vibrant skills. Members of the staff here do not consider themselves as mentors or molders or creators, but they would rather be friends, companions and beacons. True to the adage ‘an extraordinary teachers inspires’, the teachers in Padmashree CBSE School will certainly leave an ineradicable mark on their lives.
House systems
In order to inculcate among the students a sense of belongingness, art of competitiveness and the team spirit, a new activity oriented system called “HOUSE SYSTEM” was introduced.
All the students of the school have been grouped into four houses namely: Green, Yellow, Maroon and Blue.
Morning assembly
The Morning Assembly adorned by the Special Presentations is an essential part of the School schedule. Each section has its own special day to conduct the assembly with the help of their Class Teacher in the course of the academic year. It helps in exposing each student to both Indian and other world cultures through celebrations of days such as Diwali, Christmas, Mahavir Jayanti etc. The Assembly is an opportunity for displaying the inexhaustible talent of students. It fosters the spirit of group activity, leadership and value building.
Library
The school has a, storing books from a wide genre suitable for children from pre-primary to the senior wing. The teachers guides the students gently to inculcate reading habits in them, handles all their queries and requests for books they want to be ordered for them. Unlike other libraries, our library gives children the chance to drop suggestions for the books they wish to read. All the suggestions are looked into on high priority.
Clubs
To foster the holistic development, there are a number of School Clubs, both academic and co-curricular. No matter which club you belong to, you can look forward to precious experiences that will help you to improve yourself and discover who you really are. They also play a pivotal role in honing a hobby and in moving the child into the learning mode.
Kindergarten
A child has an innate desire and ability to learn and longing to explore from the environment. The child centered curriculum that is implemented in Padmashree CBSE School promotes independence and creativity. Special care is taken to make the child proceed on his or her own in dressing, eating, reading and even working on computers.
Transport
The school has an elaborate transportation network to access the school from various parts in and around Kolathur. We provide well networked transport in an organized manner. The buses are comfortable and are manned by well trained and disciplined personnel. It is our aim to provide the safest, most efficient service possible for the students.
